Juan Carlos MORENO

Mexico. Baja California. Salt & Freshwater fisherman.

My name is Juan Carlos Moreno, originally from Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. For me, fishing has never been just a hobby. It is a passion that defines my lifestyle. Every day on the water represents learning, strategy, and a direct connection with nature. Over the years, I have explored lakes, reservoirs, rivers, and coastal waters across Mexico, refining my techniques and understanding that real growth as an angler comes from constant evolution.

My approach focuses on optimizing every detail. Lines, knots, lure selection, structure reading, and fish behavior are all key elements of my preparation. I enjoy analyzing equipment with a technical mindset while still embracing the pure excitement of every catch. Largemouth bass fishing, in particular, has taught me discipline, patience, and strategic vision.

A major turning point in my journey was discovering SEVEN BASS Design. Choosing the Flatform Junior completely elevated my experience. Its stability, design, and performance have allowed me to access remote areas that were previously difficult or nearly impossible to reach. I can now fish hidden structure, explore untouched shorelines, and reach the areas where fish truly hold. More than just equipment, it became a platform that expanded my limits as an angler.

I strongly believe that Mexico is one of the best sport fishing destinations in the world. We have spectacular environments and world-class species. One of my main goals is to support anyone who wants to come fish in our country by sharing knowledge, recommendations, equipment insights, and strategic guidance so that every trip becomes memorable.

Whether you’re looking to elevate your experience on the water, explore new spots, or approach fishing with greater preparation and intent, I’ll be glad to share the journey.
